These are really simple cookies, but they don’t look plain. Hence, we had the easiest idea having not so many instruments at our disposal apart from a straw…so, why not using it to make the cookies look cuter? A smiley will make your day! The substance obviously is the main part of each recipe, but the presentation helps us to enjoy more our food:)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups oats
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 2 tablespoons almond milk
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 3 tablespoons agave syrup
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds (soaked for at least 15 minutes)
- 1 small teaspoon baking powder
Method:
- Preheat the oven at 180°
- Blend the oats until they become flour
- Add in the mixer to the oats the other ingredients: agave, almond butter, coconut oil, baking powder, almond milk and chia seeds
- Combine well
- Give to the dough the shape of normal cookies, place them on the baking tray.
- If you like to give the shape of a smiley, take a straw to do the two eyes and then with a knife design the smile 🙂 Aren’t they super cute?! 🙂
- Bake for 25 minutes until they become gold and crunchy
Why we like them:
- Super healthy and easy, with no refined sugar
- Very cheap and with ingredients that we easily all have at home
- They look so cute that it makes us happy to enjoy them wherever we are… we usually keep couple of them in our bags, for a moment of sweet craving or just as a snack
